There was excitement in the air on June 22,2013 as all roads led to 235 Donald Street in Ottawa, Canada to the new church home of Lighthouse Christian Centre – for the inaugural YOU FLOURISH Women’s Conference, hosted by Donna Neil. Over sixty women came from near and far to experience what God had for them. And the Lord did not disappoint!
The theme of the conference was P.U.S.H. – Press Until Something Happens! Many experienced an awesome move of God through authentic worship and praise which opened the door for God’s presence. One of the highlights of the day was the Sisters in the Chair Panel of women. Lady Loretta McEwan (Rhema Christian Ministries, Ottawa), Crystal Neil (Rhema Christian Ministries, Toronto), and Sarah Caesar (Bibleway Ministries, Ottawa), shared their personal stories of victory over bad relationships, drugs, physical and emotional abuse, exposure to sexual activity at an early age, and much more! Telling their stories not only brought deliverance to many who were in attendance, but also provided an opportunity to voice their stories of freedom through the YOU FLOURISH platform.
There was ample time for all to fellowship and meet fellow-sisters in love over a very nutritious lunch catered by friends of the YOU FLOURISH ministry!
Keynote Speaker, Prophetess Marlene Wogu (Rhema Christian Ministries, Toronto) left participants with a word of hope and impartation that challenged everyone present to release the investments that God has put inside of us.
When the Lord calls us to take up the mantle to work with Him in an area, it is vital that we move in step with Him. In obedience, Donna Neil answered the call to host the YOU FLOURISH conference and God put His stamp of approval on her obedience.
